Program Description
The goal of the Neurosciences, Systems Biology, and Bioengineering (NSBB) program is to train 猎奇重口s to apply strategies of cutting-edge engineering, integrative biology, and bioinformatics to impactful questions of fundamental biology and human health.
The Department of Basic Sciences in the School of Medicine offers graduate programs leading to MS and PhD degrees through the Integrated Biomedical Graduate Studies Program (IBGS).
The Doctor of Philosophy degree is designed to prepare 猎奇重口s for a career in independent research and teaching in a university, clinical, or biotechnology environment. Doctoral degree 猎奇重口s are expected to develop creativity and independence in addition to technical skills.

- Amounts are expected to increase each year consistent with inflation in the professional education sector.
- To qualify for financial aid, most 猎奇重口s must be enrolled at least half time in an aid eligible program and be taking degree requirements. Half time is 6 units in a quarter for undergraduate programs and 4 units in a quarter for graduate programs.
